I often have discussions about what it looks like to live a "real" Christian life. I'm motivated to have a place to create and sharpen those discussions by trying to put some of it in text.
Hopefully there will be some readers that will aid in this process and be aided by it. I'm also picking up some other contributors along the way.
As for the title:The first part of the blog title is a nod to the movie, "Dan in Real Life," - a movie about laughing while crying. Or maybe it's about crying while laughing. Really not sure which it is but it captures "real life" well - whatever that is.
The notion of the "transparent" life comes from one of Brennan Manning's books in which he defines transparency as allowing people to see Jesus in you - a potentially life altering definition I think.
